From Insurance Adjuster To Remodeling Expert:
The Story Of Amarillo Solar Shade Co.

Humble Beginnings: 2013

Amarillo Solar Shade Co. began as a humble venture born from a simple desire to make a difference. Our founder, Jason Myers, was tired of spending eight months a year away from home as an insurance adjuster and knew he needed a change. He longed for a career that allowed him to stay close to his family and work with his hands to help people directly. And so, armed with determination and a passion for improving homes, Jason set out on a new path.

The Early Years: 2014–2017

We started small, focusing solely on installing sunrooms and patio shades. We wanted to bring a touch of outdoor paradise to homes across the Texas Panhandle. But it wasn’t JUST about any sunrooms. We set out to become the leading authority in the region, and that’s exactly what we did. As the premier sunroom installer in the Texas Panhandle, we quickly established ourselves as the go-to experts in the field.

Finding Our Vision & Path: 2017–2024

As we continued to grow and evolve, we saw a need in our community that went beyond just installing sunrooms. Homeowners in our area were searching for a reputable contractor they could trust to handle a wide range of exterior home improvement projects – from windows and doors to siding and beyond.

Recognizing this need, we set out to expand our expertise and become the go-to solution for all things home remodeling. And boy, did we deliver. Through dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, we honed our skills and transformed into masters of our craft.

In fact, we’re proud to say that we’re now the only licensed Infinity by Marvin window installer in the entire Texas Panhandle.

The Drive To Be #1: From 2024 to Today

As we push forward into the future, our commitment to excellence only grows stronger. At Amarillo Solar Shade Co., we’ve cemented our position as the premier choice for exterior home remodeling in our area.

From being recognized as the leading fiberglass window replacement experts to mastering the art of entry doors, siding, sunrooms, and beyond, we’ve earned the trust of countless homeowners seeking top-notch craftsmanship and unparalleled service.

With each passing day, we strive to raise the bar even higher, constantly seeking out new ways to improve and innovate. We’re dedicated to staying at the forefront of our industry, always learning, always evolving, and always looking for ways to better serve our customers.
